Throught the centuries, the Sultanate has developed a rich cosmopolitian culture from the infuleunces of the many peoples that inhabit it. The famous restaurants and perfumed gardens of Oskara were featured prominately in the international hit film "Oskara Blanco".

Our many Mosques have drawn pilgrims since the founding of the nation. Today, tourists flock to our many pristine beaches and enjoy the quiet hospitality of our coastal towns. International collectors highly prize both the work of our artists and the traditional handcrafts of peasants.
